Preamble
The Fundamental proposition which governs the proposed structure of the Wayne State University Student Council:

1. The most important objective of the organization shall be to provide students with the power to make meaningful decisions, and to exercise responsibility as a student leader concerning university affairs.   More>>

Article I

Name

The name of the body is the Student Council of Wayne State University.  (Herein after referred to as "SC").

Article II

Mandate of the Student Council

The powers, functions and responsibilities of the SC derive from the people of the State of Michigan through the Board of Governor(s) of Wayne State University and from the students of the University who comprise a vital element of the academic community.  The SC is the primary representative institution of the student body and exercises its authority in the students name for the students' welfare.  More>>
